IronPigs named "Top Workplace" in Valley

The Morning Call Partnered with an Employee Survey Firm to Determine Region's Top Workplaces
March 6, 2015

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs were named as a "Top Workplace" in the Lehigh Valley according to survey of area employees conducted by the Morning Call in partnership with Philadelphia-based WorkplaceDynamics, an employee survey firm. Any company with 35 or more full-time employees was eligible to participate and over 7,645 employee questionnaires were completed in determining the 2015 "Top Workplace" list.

"We have an incredible group of employees that have worked hard to assure our standing as one of Minor League Baseball's premier teams by virtue of providing family-friendly entertainment to the Lehigh Valley at an affordable price," exclaimed IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes. "I'm honored to be associated with a group that takes so much pride in providing our fans with a memorable experience during each and every IronPigs home game."

The employee survey included 22 questions covering a myriad of topics to measure how employees feel about their day-to-day jobs. After compiling the data, the IronPigs were recognized as one of the "Top Workplaces" among Lehigh Valley employers with less than 125 full-time employees.

The IronPigs were also recently acknowledged for their workplace culture in Customer First, a quarterly magazine produced by the National Customer Service Association.

The support the IronPigs at Coca-Cola Park is unmatched across Minor League Baseball as the IronPigs have led the minors in per-game attendance since their 2008 debut and our the only club to surpass 600,000 fans each of the last seven seasons.
