B-Mets Ready for Spring Training Action

Club to tune up with 10 games in Florida

BINGHAMTON, NY - The defending Eastern League champion Binghamton Mets will warm up for their fourth season under manager Pedro Lopez by playing 10 exhibition games in Florida against the Double-A affiliates of the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins.

The B-Mets start their set in Florida on Thursday, March 19 against the Jacksonville Suns, the Double-A affiliate of the Marlins in Port St. Lucie, Florida. All games are set to start at 1 PM.

Following their final game in the Sunshine State on April 1, the B-Mets will break camp and make the trek north to NYSEG Stadium.

The Binghamton Mets are set to open their 24th season on April 9 in Akron against the RubberDucks. The B-Mets home opener on April 16, highlighted by a pregame ceremony to celebrate heir 2014 championship, is just 28 days away. Season ticket packages and miniplans are on sale.
