Andy Fermin collects a double.
April 16, 2015

DUNEDIN, FL - The D-Jays (4-4) dropped the finale of the four-game set, 6-0, to the Bradenton Marauders (3-5) Thursday night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The two clubs split the series.

Bradenton put up two runs in the second which was all the offense they would need during the contest.

The D-Jays collected three hits on the evening, including a double by Andy Fermin, his second of the season. Fermin's double-bagger came in the second frame. Dunedin would go one to load the bases, threatening to cut into the deficit, but were unable to score.

LHP Jayson Aquino (0-1) suffered the loss for Dunedin, but struck out two and didn't issue a walk. He allowed three runs through five innings of work.

RHP Frank Duncan (1-0) earned the win for Bradenton, tossing five scoreless innings.

The D-Jays hit the road for three games against Brevard Country and three against the Daytona Tortugas before returning home next Thursday, April 23. Dunedin opens the road trip by sending RHP Luis Santos (0-0, 5.06) to the mound against RHP Javier Salas (0-1, 1.80) for Brevard County.
