Vote for the Hale's April Player of the Month

Nominees are Ty Buttrey, Mauricio Dubon, Michael Kopech, Kuehl McEachern, Carlos Mesa and Derek Miller

The Greenville Drive had a great month of April, posting a 12-9 record, and several players were instrumental in the great start to the season. Fans, the Drive and Hale's Jewelers want your help to decide on the "Player of the Month" for April. 
Cast your vote today and you could win a $250 savings certificate to Hale's Jewelers, which is good for a minimum purchase of $500. The lucky fan who is selected will win the savings certificate and will get to participate in a pregame recognition ceremony with the Player of the Month. Click here to cast your vote!
The nominees for April player of the month are:
Ty Buttrey, RHP: The Drive's Opening Night starter in 2015, Buttrey was outstanding in four starts before earning a promotion to Salem. He went 1-0 in four starts with a 2.45 ERA and 22 strikeouts vs. just three walks in 22 innings. He threw five hitless innings in his final start on the 26th.
Mauricio Dubon, IF: While splitting time between second base and shortstop, Dubon showcased sparkling defense while leading the Drive in numerous offensive categories in April, including a .338 batting average, 13 runs, 26 hits and six stolen bases.
Michael Kopech, RHP: Kopech put his blazing fastball to good use during April, posting a 1-1 record with a 1.98 ERA in three starts. He was named the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 20-26after throwing 10 scoreless innings over two starts.
Kuehl McEachern, RHP: McEachern was a key cog to the Drive bullpen during the opening month, posting a 2-0 record with one save and a 0.73 ERA in six appearances. He allowed just one run over 12 1/3 innings of work.
Carlos Mesa, OF: The native of Cuba was a big bat in the middle of the Drive lineup during April, hitting .311 with a pair of homers and 10 RBI. His slugging percentage of .533 led the club, and he also hit four doubles, ranking second on the Drive for the month.
Derek Miller, OF: Miller was no stranger to clutch hits during April, collecting walk-off hits in the series opener and series finale against Asheville on April 23rd and 26th, respectively. He hit .316 in April with 25 hits and 13 RBI while splitting time between all three outfield spots.
