Pitcher's Duel in Reno Suspended by Rain

RENO (MAY 17) - The Salt Lake Bees game in Reno on Sunday afternoon was suspended by rain. The showers hit Aces Ballpark in the top of the seventh inning and the tarp was put on the field after the third out. The game will resume at 6 pm MDT with the regularly scheduled contest to follow. Salt Lake starter Andrew Heaney went six innings and allowed no runs with seven strikeouts and two walks. Reno starter Vidal Nuno also worked six scoreless innings and gave up just four hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

Salt Lake finishes a four-game set at Reno on Tuesday before returning to Smith's Ballpark on Thursday, May 21, for a series with Colorado and Oklahoma City. For tickets and more informaion visit www.slbees.com.
