Road Swing Starts With a Loss

The Tri-City Dust Devils were held quiet at the plate on Friday night in Eugene as the team fell to the Emeralds 7-1. A.J. Kennedy collected two hits and scored Tri-City's only run in his professional debut. Starting pitcher Travis Radke suffered the loss for the Dust Devils after allowing five runs off of nine hits to the Emeralds.

The five-game road series continues on Saturday night. Bryce Morrow will continue his rehab stint with the Dust Devils, making his second start for the team. Eugene will counter with left-hander Jose Paulino. The Tri-City Dust Devils will return to Gesa Stadium on Tuesday, July 1st to start a three-game series with the Everett AquaSox.
