Plenty of Fun-Filled Food & Beverage Options During Nine-Game Homestand
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- With nine consecutive RiverDogs home games beginning Saturday, July 4, at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park, there will be an assortment of new and exciting food and beverage items from which to choose.
Dog World features a Red, White & Blue Watermelon Salad, which is served in a full-size RiverDogs replica helmet and includes an entire head of Hydroponic Bib lettuce. The salad also features quinoa, fresh watermelon, cucumber strips, sliced grape tomatoes, basil, blueberries and feta cheese. For a dressing, fans may choose between balsamic vinaigrette and Greek Goddess.
Also at Dog World will be the Carolina Dog, and this special hot dog is topped with chili, cole slaw, onions and an house-made Carolina BBQ sauce.
At the RiverDogs State Fair, fans will be able to enjoy a deep-fried Snickers bar. The regular size Snickers is battered and fried to perfection, and this treat is sure to send your taste buds into a frenzy.
The Shredded House Smoked BBQ Turkey Taco will be available at Wacko Taco. This delicacy is comprised of slow-smoked BBQ turkey, corn salsa and cilantro aioli.
At Sausage World, fans will be able to try a Grilled Cheese Sausage. The Lumberjack sausage is butterflied and seared on a flat top, and then topped with pimento cheese and served in a hot dog bun that was toasted on the grill.
Regarding the popular beer shakes, the club introduces especially for this homestand a Strawberry Shortcake Beer Shake that features Abita Strawberry Harvest beer, vanilla ice cream, strawberry syrup and a piece of short cake.
Make sure to stop by Scoops and order the delicious soda float that is presented with a scoop of ice cream in a 16-ounce cup that is topped with any flavor of soda desired.
Finally, Smokin' Joe's menu has a fresh look and introduces new menu items that include pulled pork sandwiches, sliced brisket sandwiches, burnt ends sandwiches, a brisket ramen bowl and a smoked half-chicken. All items at Smokin' Joe's are served as baskets except for the smoked half-chicken, as those come with pork rinds.
The RiverDogs return to The Joe and open up a nine-game homestand on Saturday, July 4. Charleston will entertain the Rome Braves for a four-game series, before they welcome the Kannapolis Intimidators into the Lowcountry for a five-game series. Get your tickets before we sell out!
