Quintana With Solid Effort, Rome Gets 7-0 Win

The Rome Braves shutout the Lakewood BlueClaws Saturday night at State Mutual Stadium 7-0. Rome starter Zach Quintanta goes six scoreless innings while scattering three hits en route to the win.

Rome posted a run in the second inning on Conner Oliver's run scoring double for the 1-0 lead. The Braves added two more runs in the third on Jordan Edgerton's RBI single and Matt Tellor's ground out to score the second run. Rome scored twice more in the fourth and fifth for the 7-0 win. Offensively, Oliver had a double and a triple with an RBI.

Quintana (2-2) gets the win while Shane Watson (0-2) absorbs the loss.
