The El Paso Chihuahuas sent 13 batters to the plate in the fifth inning of their 15-2 win Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento. They scored eight runs in the rally, establishing a team record for runs in an inning. El Paso also tied the club record for margin of victory, matching its 14-1 victory on June 29th in Tacoma.

Eight of nine starting Chihuahuas reached base via hits or a walks, including pitcher Chris Smith, who had the first two RBIs of his professional career. Alex Dickerson went 5-for-5 with a walk and three RBIs, joining Abraham Almonte and Rocky Gale as the only players in team history to collect five hits in one game.

Travis Jankowski made his Triple-A debut for El Paso Wednesday, going 1-for-2 with two RBIs after entering as a defensive replacement. Smith allowed two runs in seven innings, his third start of seven innings or more this season.

The Chihuahuas have won four of their last five games.
