PCL Championship Dates and Times Set

Fresno will host Game 3 on Friday, September 18th and Games 4 and 5 if necessary

FRESNO, Calif. -The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, are set to begin the best-of-five Pacific Coast League Championship Series against the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, on Tuesday night at Dell Diamond Park. The Grizzlies will play Games 1 and 2 in Round Rock before returning to Downtown Fresno to host Game 3 on Friday, September 18th at Chukchansi Park with a 7:05 PM PT first pitch. If necessary, Fresno will also host Game 4 on Saturday at 7:05 PM, as well as Game 5 on Sunday at 1:05 PM. The championship series appearance is the first for the Grizzlies (1998-current) in franchise history, while the series marks the second trip for Round Rock (2005-current) and first since 2006, which coincidentally came when they were the Astros Triple-A affiliate (swept by Tucson).

Individual playoff tickets, group options, luxury suites, and multi-game packages are available for purchase at the Chukchansi Park Box Office, over the phone at 559.320.TIXS, or online. Individual tickets start as low as $10, with packages that include one ticket to each of the three possible home championship games and two additional vouchers for either the championship series or a 2016 home game starting at $50 (savings of up to 45%). The winner of the Championship Series will move on to play the champion of the International League in the Gildan Triple-A National Championship, which is a winner-take-all game in El Paso, Texas at Southwest University Park on Tuesday, September 22nd. The game is to be nationally televised on NBC Sports Network and can also be heard over the radio in the Valley on 1430-AM KYNO.
