Join us to honor life of Eric Allman
Please join us on Thursday October 22nd from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the Three Rivers Club at State Mutual Stadium, to celebrate the life of Eric Allman, friend, fellow co-worker and Director of Stadium Operations for the Rome Braves. We will join together to share stories, memories, and laughter as Eric wished that we would remember him. This event is open to the public.
Eric Felix Allman, age 59, of Rome, Ga., passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Born in El Paso, Texas Eric graduated from Dougherty High School Albany, GA in 1974 and attended the University of Georgia majoring in secondary education. He worked his way up with the City of Albany Recreation and Parks Department eventually serving as the Athletic Director. Eric left Albany for his love of baseball and served several Minor League Baseball teams in management roles throughout the South Atlantic League in Georgia and North Carolina. In the fall of 2002, he joined the Rome Braves as the Director of Stadium Operations and helped oversee the construction of the State Mutual Stadium. He remained with the Rome Braves as Director of Stadium Operations until his passing.
