Gwinnett Braves to Host "Throwdown Games" Powered by Better Baseball

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - From February 25-27, the Gwinnett Braves and Coolray Field will host the "Georgia High School Throwdown Games," powered by Better Baseball. Fourteen local high schools will play in two doubleheaders and a tripleheader during the seven-game, three-day event.

Here is a listing of the high school games to be played at Coolray Field this spring, with dates, times and opponents.

• February 20 at 1 p.m.: Discovery vs. Rockdale County
• February 24 at 5:30 p.m.: Flowery Branch vs. Jackson County
• February 25 at 4 p.m.: Shiloh vs. Duluth "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 25 at 7 p.m.: Grayson vs. Lanier "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 26 at 4 p.m.: Central Gwinnett vs. Peachtree Ridge "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 26 at 7 p.m.: Dacula vs. Norcross "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 27 at 10 a.m.: Pinecrest Academy vs. Hebron Christian (postponed from February 23)
• February 27 at 1 p.m.: Archer vs. Mountain View "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 27 at 4 p.m.: Brookwood vs. Mill Creek "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• February 27 at 7 p.m.: Collins Hill vs. Parkview "Throwdown Games" presented by Better Baseball
• March 5 at 10 a.m.: North Oconee vs. Centennial (postponed from March 3)
• March 19 at 1 p.m.: Dawson County vs. White County
• March 19 at 4 p.m.: Butts County vs. Morgan County
• March 19 at 7 p.m.: Buford vs. West Forsyth

Tickets will be available for the February 25-27 "Throwdown Games" as part of a three-day pass for $25, on sale at the Coolray Field Ticket Office beginning Monday, February 8. Tickets will be also available at the Coolray Field Ticket Office on the day of the games. Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets with ID are $5 for the day.
