I-Cubs and Sky Sox Postponed

Des Moines, IA - Saturday's contest between the Iowa Cubs and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to weather. 

The two teams will play a double-header tomorrow beginning at 11:08 a.m. with each game lasting seven innings. Gate will open at 10 a.m. Because tomorrow's scheduled contest was the last of the series, a 4:25 p.m. curfew has been placed on the games to fit both team's travel schedules. 

This is Iowa's first home rainout of the season, though the team has encountered inclement weather on the road. The I-Cubs were rained out twice at Round Rock earlier this season and had another game suspended in the seventh inning in New Orleans. 

Regular Sunday promotions will remain with Bike World Pedal to the Park, Knothole Gang and Family 4 Pack tickets. Both games will be broadcast on 940-AM and online at www.iowacubs.com beginning at 11 a.m.
