Lake Monsters Announce Senior Program

Team's First-Ever Exclusive "Silver Sluggers" For Seniors
May 23, 2016

BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Lake Monsters are proud to announce their first-ever club geared towards seniors in the community, called the "Silver Sluggers" program, proudly presented by MVP Health Care.

"We do a lot of programs and promotions geared towards kids and families, and this is just another way for us to connect with our loyal fan base and provide them with something fun and unique," said Nate Cloutier, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing. "It is a great opportunity for us to increase interaction and engagement with local seniors. We are thrilled to have MVP Health Care on as a partner, who shares the same vision."

The Silver Sluggers program offers local seniors (60-years and older) the opportunity to join the program for only $9.99 per person, where each senior will receive the following benefits for being a part of the program:
* An official Silver Sluggers Membership Card
* An exclusive Silver Sluggers Lake Monsters Baseball Cap
* Admission into three (3) Vermont Lake Monsters home games (June 21st, July 22nd, and August 14th)

At each of the three home games, Silver Sluggers will have the opportunity to be a part of three program exclusive events, such as:
* 6/21 - Exclusive pre-game walk on the warning track
* 7/22 - Exclusive discussion with the Vermont SABR Chapter, detailing the history of Vermont baseball
* 8/14 - Exclusive player meet and greet, and autograph session with the team

"MVP Health Care is proud to partner with the Lake Monsters this year to celebrate Silver Sluggers, the fans that have stood beside them the longest and, likely, cheered them on the loudest," MVP Health Care's Ashley Breen-Vega said. "MVP hopes programs like this encourage people to take on life and live well."
