Mudcats rained out in Wilmington

Sunday's series finale against the Blue Rocks was postponed
August 21, 2016

WILMINGTON, DE - Sunday's series finale between the Carolina Mudcats and Wilmington Blue Rocks was postponed due to rain at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. The game will be made up as part of a yet to be determined doubleheader at Five County Stadium in Zebulon.

Carolina finished the rain-shortened trip at 0-6 after going 0-4 in Salem against the Red Sox and 0-2 in Wilmington after the series was cut short due to rain. The Mudcats have lost six straight overall and will look to snap the streak while returning to Five County Stadium for Tuesday's game versus the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

Tuesday's game will start at 7:00 p.m. and is the first of three straight between the Mudcats and Pelicans in Zebulon. It is also the first of three in Carolina's short three game home stand.

Tickets to all Carolina Mudcats games are currently available by contacting a front office representative at (919) 269-CATS (2287) or by visiting www.carolinamudcats.com.

The Carolina Mudcats are the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. First established in 1991, the two-time Southern League Champion Carolina Mudcats are in their 26th consecutive season of baseball at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C.
