Nick Williams hit a solo home run in the top of the 10th inning to give the IronPigs (28-14) a 4-3 victory over the Syracuse Chiefs (13-25) Saturday afternoon at NBT Bank Stadium.

Williams led off the top of the 10th with the go-ahead and eventual game-winning home run on a fly ball to right-center field to give the Pigs the 4-3 victory.
Pedro Beato then came on in the bottom of the 10th to notch his 13th save of the season. After Irving Falu grounded out to begin the inning, Grant Green doubled to left to give the Chiefs the tying run in scoring position. Beato then bounced out Rafael Bautista before hitting Adrian Sanches with a pitch. With two outs and runners on first and second, Beato struck out Brandon Snyder to preserve the 4-3 Pigs win.
Trailing 3-1 going into the top of the ninth inning, the Pigs needed yet another late inning rally to get past the Cheifs and have now won 14 out of their last 15 ball games.
Pedro Florimón continued his hot hitting as he singled to right to lead off the frame for the Pigs. The Pigs then pinch-hit Hecor Gomez for Pigs starting pitcher Tom Eshelman, however, Gomez flew out to center. Roman Quinn then bunted to try to move over Florimon, but instead found himself at second and Florimon at third because of a throwing error by pitcher Rafael Martín.
J.P. Crawford then sent a RBI single to center scoring Florimon to bring the Pigs within a run. Cam Perkins then tied the game at 3 as he roped a line drive to center, scoring Quinn easily from third.
Eshelman tossed eight solid innings for the Pigs before giving way to César Ramos who picked up the win. Eshelman gave up his three runs (two earned) on six hits while striking out four.
The Pigs and Chiefs conclude their three-game series with game three Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. The Pigs will send right-hander Ben Lively (5-1, 3.19) and the Chiefs will send right-hander Kyle McGowin (1-2, 5.79).
