Phillies OF Daniel Nava - out since May 21 with a left hamstring strain -- is scheduled to begin a rehab appearance for the IronPigs as they conclude their series with the Louisville Bats on Memorial Day at 1:35 p.m. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is the exclusive sponsor of all Major League rehabilitation appearances at Coca-Cola Park. 

Tickets are still available for all upcoming games and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447) or online at ironpigsbaseball.com/tickets. In addition to Nava's rehab appearance, today's is Military Appreciation Day and includes a Camo Cap giveaway for 3,000 adults 18 and older courtesy of Nacci Printing.
Nava, 34, was swinging a hot bat prior to the injury, hitting .305 (18-for-59) with 2 homers and 8 RBIs. Nava was signed by the Phillies this past off-season and is in his first season with the club.
Nava made his Major League debut with the Red Sox in 2010, just three seasons removed from playing for the Chico Outlaws of the independent Golden League in 2007. In his first career at-bat in the Big Leagues, he hit a grand slam off the Phillies' Joe Blanton, becoming just the 4th player in Major League history to hit a grand slam in his first plate appearance.
During the Red Sox 2013 title run, Nava hit a robust .303 with 12 homers and 66 RBIs in 134 games. He also appeared in nine post-season games, helping the Red Sox best the St. Louis Cardinals in the Fall Classic, 4 games to 2.
Lifetime, he's hit .263 with 27 home runs and 193 RBIs in 538 games over parts of seven seasons with Boston ('10, '12-'15), Tampa Bay ('15), Los Angeles-AL ('16), Kansas City ('16) and Philadelphia ('17).
