Homestand Highlights: June 19-25

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for a seven-game homestand from Monday, June 19 through Sunday, June 25. The G-Braves will host the Charlotte Knights (Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox) for four games from June 19-22, and the Norfolk Tides (Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) for three games from June 23-25.  
The homestand begins with Dog Day Monday on June 19. Other promotions throughout the week include Two-for-Tuesday on June 20, Triple Play Thursday (sponsored by Coolray Heating & Cooling) on June 22, and a G-Braves First Responders Themed Jersey Auction and First Responders Themed Jersey Replica T-Shirt Giveaway as part of First Responders Night (sponsored by Gwinnett Medical Center) on June 24. The homestand ends with Sunday Funday (sponsored by Georgia United Credit Union) on June 25.

• Sunday Funday - Fans are invited to play catch on the field before the game from 12:05 p.m. lasting approximately 20 minutes. After the game, kids (ages 12 and under) are welcome to run the bases as part of "Sunday Funday" presented by Georgia United Credit Union.
• MiLB Play Ball Weekend - Prior to the game, the G-Braves will be honoring 10 athletes for their sportsmanship as the Team of the Day.
• MiLB Sun Safety Initiative - Minor League Baseball has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to promote sun safety through the "Cover Your Bases" campaign. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a sunscreen sample.
