The Tulsa Drillers will be returning to ONEOK Field for their shortest homestand of the season as the second half of the Texas League season gets underway. They will face the first-half North Division winners in the NW Arkansas Naturals, beginning on Thursday, June 22.The four-game series against the Naturals

The Tulsa Drillers will be returning to ONEOK Field for their shortest homestand of the season as the second half of the Texas League season gets underway. They will face the first-half North Division winners in the NW Arkansas Naturals, beginning on Thursday, June 22.
The four-game series against the Naturals (Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) will run from Thursday, June 22 through Sunday, June 25.
The series against NW Arkansas will feature 7:05 PM start times for the first three games of the series before concluding with a 1:05 PM start time in the final Sunday matinee game of the season.
Scheduled promotions in the homestand will include:

  • Trevor Story Bobblehead Giveaway on Thursday, June 22
  • Postgame Fireworks Shows on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24
  • Final, Free Kids Baseball Clinic with Drillers players on Sunday, June 25

NOTES OF INTEREST
TEARING IT UP AT THE PLATE: Tulsa slugger Jose Miguel Fernandez has been absolutely on fire for the Drillers at the plate during the month of June as he has raised his batting average over 50 points from .287 on June 4th to a Texas League-leading .338 clip to-date. For the month of June, Fernandez is batting a robust .453.
NINE DRILLERS NAMED TO TEXAS LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME: For the second straight season, the Tulsa Drillers have had a league-high 9 players named to the annual Texas League All-Star Game! Edwin Ríos, Kyle Garlick, Michael Ahmed, Tim Locastro, Matt Beaty, Paul Hoenecke, Scott Barlow, Walker Buehler and Corey Copping have all been selected to participate in the 81st Annual showcase which will be held at Frisco's Dr Pepper Ballpark on Tuesday, June 27th.
RECORD AGAINST OPPONENT:  The Drillers will enter their series against the Naturals with a solid 54-47 record at home since 2010, although they've stumbled a bit with a 1-7 record against NW Arkansas so far this season.

TREVOR STORY #STORYTIME BOBBLEHEAD GIVEAWAY
Last season, former Driller Trevor Story had an incredible rookie season for the Colorado Rockies, setting the National League record for home runs by a rookie shortstop with 27 blasts in just 97 games before he suffered a season-ending thumb injury. But he's back this year and producing more #StoryTime exploits! The Drillers homestand will begin with the first 1,000 fans who enter through the Arvest or Oil Derrick gates (ages 4 and up with a paid admission) receiving a special-edition #StoryTime bobblehead! The game and giveaway are sponsored by the Tulsa World, FOX 23 and 92.1 The Beat.
THIRSTY THURSDAY
The homestand opener will also be another Thirsty Thursday! 12 oz. servings of Miller Lite and Coors Light draught beers, along with 16 oz. servings of Pepsi products, will all be on sale for only $1 each.
FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT
The Drillers appreciate those individuals who work hard to serve our community! So, tonight's game will feature the club honoring first responders who serve the local community in several different ways. There will also be special displays for each city department set up along Elgin Avenue and Archer Street for fans to come by and see.
POSTGAME PARTY
Immediately following the game, the postgame party at the new Busch Scoreboard Bar will get underway for those wanting to start celebrating their weekend early. Tulsa's Own Piano Man, Joseph Callery, will be on hand and playing next to the bar where fans will be able to enjoy 24 oz. domestic drafts for just $4 each.

Following the game will be another fantastic News On 6 Friday Night Fireworks display! It is presented by Hillcrest Healthcare System, News On 6 and K95.5 FM.
ALL-AMERICAN BLOOD DRIVE
Starting at 4pm, right outside ONEOK Field on Elgin Avenue, you can donate blood at the All-American Blood Drive benefitting the Oklahoma Blood Institute. Fans can come by until 9:30pm with each fan who donates receiving two tickets to the Drillers fireworks game on July 7, a pass for 2 to Safari Joe's H2O Water Park, and a T-Shirt. Any person participating in the drive will also be entered into a drawing to win free tickets to the exclusive Drillers Party Platform for a future game.
POSTGAME PARTY

TULSA'S CHANNEL 8 GRAND SLAM SATURDAY / FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA
What better way to enjoy your Saturday evening than coming out and seeing the skies over ONEOK Field lit up with another spectacular fireworks show following Saturday's game?! The night is brought to you courtesy of Project 31, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 94.1 KXOJ.
PROJECT 31 STEP-UP-TO-THE-PLATE NIGHT AT ONEOK FIELD
Project 31 is a non-profit organization that aims to help women and families going through breast cancer embrace the emotional pain that comes with a cancer diagnosis, to equip survivors and their families with tools to cope with their pain, to empower survivors to live fully restored lives after their battle, while encouraging them to give back through mentoring. This specific event is designed to encourage the men in the lives of these women. On the field, the Drillers will be wearing special-edition pink jerseys during the game that will be auctioned off through a silent jersey auction by the team store. All bidding must be completed by the first pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning. There will also be a team-autographed jersey being raffled off where fans can purchase 1 raffle ticket for $2 or 3 tickets for $5. All proceeds will go directly to Project 31 to help support them and the work they're doing. Fans can also support Project 31 and get a chance to win some serious cash by purchasing a raffle ticket through the Green Leaf Lawn Services 50/50 Raffle that will be taking place inside the stadium.

The short homestand will wrap up with another 2 Works for You Kids Eat Free Souvenir Sunday! The first 500 kids, ages 12 and under, to enter the stadium through the Arvest and Oil Derrick Entrances will receive a Drillers-themed pop socket to go on the back of their phones!
All kids, 12 and under, will also get a Kids Eat Free Coupon that is redeemable for a free hot dog, piece of fruit and drink. It is all courtesy of the Green Country Chevy Dealers, 2 Works for You and 106.9 K-Hits.
FINAL FREE KIDS BASEBALL SKILLS CLINIC
Before the game, youth baseball and softball players will be allowed onto the field for one final clinic with the Drillers players. The clinic will run from 11:45 AM-12:15 PM. Kids wishing to participate are encouraged to bring their glove and arrive at the stadium at 11:30 AM through the Arvest Entrance off of Elgin Avenue and can then enter the field from Section 101 of the seating bowl. 
OREO STACKING FINALS
The time has come for the 20 finalists to compete for the title of 2017 OREO Stacking National Champion! The competitors will compete in the Drillers Conference Center with a winner to be determined before the end of the night! The competition is presented by Nabisco and Reasor's.
KIDS RUN THE BASES
After the game, kids can circle the bases of ONEOK Field courtesy of Nabisco and Reasor's! The line begins in the first row between Sections 103 and 104.
