The Fresno Grizzlies hit three home runs in their 10-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas Monday night at Chukchansi Park. The Grizzlies now have 99 homers this season, the most in all of Minor League Baseball.

El Paso's scoring came exclusively from home runs Monday. Carlos Asuaje hit a two-run homer into the left field bleachers in the second inning. Asuaje also hit a single and has reached base multiple times in each of his last three games. Ryan Schimpf and Jabari Blash struck back-to-back home runs in the top of the eighth, the second game in a row that combination of players hit back-to-back home runs for El Paso. Schimpf now has four homers in his eight games since being optioned from San Diego. Blash has eight longballs in his last 12 games.
One day after picking up his first hit in the eighth inning, Rafael Ortega got a first inning single to extend his hitting streak to 15 games, which is tied for the longest by a Chihuahuas player this season. The Chihuahuas have allowed multiple first inning runs in four consecutive games. Padres outfielder Manuel Margot led off and served as the DH Monday in his first MLB injury rehab game with El Paso.
