Mets begin 7-game home stand on Thursday

Dollar Night, World Beer Classic and Fireworks highlight home slate

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets are geared up for an exciting seven-game home stand that will span eight days. The action starts Thursday against the Charlotte Stone Crabs and will run all the way through June 29 against the Palm Beach Cardinals. Thursday marks the start of

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets are geared up for an exciting seven-game home stand that will span eight days. The action starts Thursday against the Charlotte Stone Crabs and will run all the way through June 29 against the Palm Beach Cardinals.
 
Thursday marks the start of the Florida State League's second half. The Mets will host the Stone Crabs for four games through Sunday. The Mets welcome in FSL South first half champion Palm Beach for three games next Tuesday-Thursday. Monday is an off day.
 
Great seats are available at First Data Field. Games start at 6:30 p.m. with the exception of Sunday, which is a 1 p.m. start.
 
Highlighting the home slate is Dollar Night on both Thursdays, Free T-Shirt Friday courtesy of Coca-Cola and the debut of The World Beer Classic on Saturday and postgame fireworks on Saturday.
 
Below is a list of all the happenings at First Data Field for the seven games:
 
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
-Solo Cup Special: Buy a Mets solo cup for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
-Budweiser Giveaway: The first 250 fans receive a free Budweiser bottle koozie.
-Children's Services Council - Slide into Reading Night: Kids can stop by the CSC Booth and pick up a free book to take home for the summer.
 
Friday - 6:30 p.m.
-Free T-Shirt Friday: The first 500 fans receive a free Mets themed T-shirt courtesy of Coca-Cola.
-Halfway to Halloween: Fans are encouraged to wear costumes. Costume contest winners will win a prize and be featured on our social media. Kids can trick-or-treat at various sports around the stadium.
-Family Fun Night: All Klutch's Kids Crew members receive free admission. It is free to sign up for the Kids Club this year. Contact Kasey Blair at [email protected] to register today.
-Fun Run Around the Bases for kids 12-and-under after the game.
 
Saturday - 6:30 p.m.
-The World Beer Classic: From 4-8 p.m. enjoy a beer fest with brews from around the world! Cost is $25 in advance and $30 on gameday. Cost includes the price of a game ticket and a souvenir sampling glass. Visit www.theworldbeerclassic.com for tickets.
-Santa Strong Fire/EMT softball tournament from noon-4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket window with proceeds going towards the St. Lucie Fire/EMT charity fund.
-Postgame fireworks!
 
Sunday - 1:00 p.m.

-Sunday Brunch: Fans can get a ticket to the game and enjoy brunch in the covered terrace level for $20 day of ($17 in advance). Brunch items include an omelet station, meat carving station, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, fruit, danishes and more.
 
Monday - OFF
 
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
-Fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $15.
-Silver Sluggers Night: All Silver Sluggers members get in free and receive a free hot dog.
-Baseball Bingo: Free for all fans to play.
 
Wednesday - 6:30 p.m.
-All You Can Eat and a Seat: For $18 fans get a ticket to the game and access to the smorgasbord of hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, popcorn, $2 soda, $2 water and $2 beer.
 
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
-Solo Cup Special: Buy a Mets solo cup for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
