FRISCO--Michael DeLeon's sacrifice fly scored Royce Bolinger in the bottom of the ninth as the Roughriders beat the Missions 6-5 Sunday night in the series finale at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.

Bolinger started the inning by hitting a routine pop up toward the middle of the infield, but strong winds blew the ball all the way over toward the first base area, where it dropped between Josh Naylor and Javier Guerra.

A single and a walk loaded the bases against Aroni Nina, setting the stage for DeLeon's heroics.

The Missions overcame an early 3-0 lead to go up 4-3 in the fifth inning. Nick Torres and Stephen McGee both slugged solo homers, with McGee's providing the Missions with a temporary lead in the fifth.

Frisco regained the lead in the bottom half of the inning by scoring two runs and chasing starter Chris Huffman.

Ty France singled home Franmil Reyes in the eighth inning to knot the score at five apiece.

The 'Riders took three of four in the set. It was their first winning home series against San Antonio since the first half of last season.

The Missions still hold a three game lead over Corpus Christi in the second half race, while Frisco pulled to within five games.

NOTES: INF River Stevens was activated from the DL to replace injured second baseman Luis Urías. Urias (ankle) has not yet been placed on the disabled list but San Antonio's roster stands at 25 players.
