Walk-off home run pushes Beloit past South Bend 7-6

BELOIT, WI - The South Bend Cubs completed their Wisconsin road trip with a 7-6 loss to the Snappers in Beloit Monday night.

Mark Malave gave up a walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth to J.C. Rodriguez to send the Snappers to a three game series sweep.
Jhonny Pereda and Austin Upshaw drove in two runs apiece for South Bend. Upshaw ended the night going three-for-five. South Bend out hit Beloit 16 to 11 and every Cubs batter ended up with at least one hit.
South Bend finishes their road trip through Wisconsin at 2-4.
