After a 70-degree series opener on Monday, constant rain through Tuesday afternoon made playing conditions unsafe and led to another postponement. This becomes the fifth gameday that a Whitecaps game has been called off since the beginning of the 2018 season.
Tuesday's game is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 pm. Both games will last seven innings in duration, with a 30-minute break in-between contests. The team is now scheduled to play three doubleheaders in the next five days, including an upcoming five-game series played in a three-day span this weekend against the Lansing Lugnuts.
