Summary
Akron's Sicnarf Loopstok lifted a game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th inning Wednesday afternoon, giving the RubberDucks a thrilling, 2-1, walk-off victory over the Trenton Thunder at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Turning Point
The RubberDucks (27-19) won the game in the 11th against Trenton reliever Kaleb Ort (1-1). Designated runner Jorma Rodriguez opened the inning at second base. He advanced to third on an infield hit by Ka'ai Tom. After Ort struck out Tyler Krieger for the first out, Loopstok sent a fly ball to left, near the foul line, plenty deep enough for Rodriguez to tag and score the winning run.
Mound Presence
All three RubberDucks pitchers were effective Wednesday. Starter Jake Paulson matched his season-high with seven innings of shutout baseball. Paulson allowed just three hits, walked none and fanned six, but he left with a scoreless tie, and, thus, settled for a no-decision. Kieran Lovegrove followed with two scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth. Side-arm specialist Nick Pasquale (2-1) worked the 10th and 11th, and, despite giving up a run in the 10th on an RBI single by Trey Amburgey, picked up the relief win. Pasquale struck out five batters in his two innings.
Duck Tales
After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the 10th, the RubberDucks rallied right away in the bottom of the 10th and tied the game on Sam Haggerty's RBI double off Jordan Foley. Ort came in to replace Foley with one out and got the final two outs to strand Haggerty on second, including a sensational, diving catch by Amburgey in center on a sinking line drive by Bobby Bradley that would have won the game.
