The Tri-City Dust Devils (5-5) scored four runs in the eighth inning, but fell 8-5 to the Everett AquaSox (7-3) Sunday night at Everett Memorial Stadium. Tre Carter drove in two runs for Tri-City as Everett won it's seventh-consecutive game.

Extra-base hits came back to bite starting pitcher Sam Keating (1-1) who allowed five runs over his four innings of work. Four extra-base hits, including two doubles for Josh Stowers and a triple for Ryne Ogren led to the early advantage.
Tri-City struck for a run in the seventh on an RBI single for Carter, following a catcher's interference that placed two on base and a runner in scoring position. The Dust Devils would plate four more runs in the eighth, courtesy of a bases-loaded double for Luke Becker, an error, and a second RBI single from Carter.
Tri-City wraps up the series against Everett at 7:05 p.m. Monday. The Dust Devils will send left-hander Ramon Perez (0-1) to the rubber to face off against Everett southpaw Max Roberts (1-1).
