MOBILE, AL - The Tennessee Smokies ended their three-game losing streak on Monday night with an 11-3 victory over the Mobile BayBears in Mobile. Tennessee's offense compiled 10 hits and 6 walks in the blowout win.
The Smokies offense got back to work in the fourth inning, as
Tennessee piled on three more runs in the seventh inning when Martinez hit a three-run home run to left field, scoring Short and Rice. The fourth home run of the season for Martinez made it 11-1. A walk and three hits in the bottom of the frame led to two runs for the BayBears, trimming the deficit to 11-3.
Tennessee and Mobile are set to play the final game of the series on Tuesday at 7:35 p.m. The Smokies will look to split the series at three games each with a win in tomorrow's contest.
