San Jose Giants Announce Continuation of Hometown Heroes Program
San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants are excited to announce the second edition of the Hometown Heroes program, presented by Alliance Credit Union. The Hometown Heroes program is designed to allow fans to nominate individuals who they believe deserve to be recognized for their work in the community. Everyone from first responders to military personnel to neighborhood association volunteers to teachers can be recognized. Visit SJGiants.com/Hero to nominate your Hometown Hero.
"We are thrilled for the opportunity to once again share the amazing stories of our community's heroes off the diamond alongside our longtime partner, Alliance Credit Union," said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants SVP of Communications and Chief Marketing Officer. "The San Jose Giants have continuously produced homegrown Giants, and to share the same field with Giants in our community is a memorable moment we are excited to celebrate with the entire team and fans."
Each month, fans are encouraged to nominate a member of the San Jose community who they believe should be recognized as a Hometown Hero. Each winner will receive four box seat tickets and BBQ tickets to a select San Jose Giants home game where they will be recognized on the field during a pregame ceremony.
"The Hometown Heroes program was built to recognize people who are dedicated to keeping our community safe, healthy and vibrant," said Brian Dorcy, President and CEO of Alliance Credit Union.
