RVA -The Major League Baseball Postseason begins tonight with plenty of representation from Richmond and the Flying Squirrels organization. Initial postseason roster projections have as many as 18 former Flying Squirrels players on five different teams playing through October. The festivities begin tonight with the Blue Jays hosting the Baltimore Orioles in a matchup that includes Squirrels 2015 Pitcher of the Year Joe Biagini. Biagini was selected by the Blue Jays from the Giants in the Rule 5 draft last year and has been in Toronto's bullpen all season. The Giants of course, will carry the majority of former Squirrels players for their Wild Card matchup against the Mets on Wednesday in New York. The Giants are back in the playoffs for the fourth time in seven seasons. Boston (Heath Hembree), Cleveland (Dan Otero), and Los Angeles (Charlie Culberson) should all carry at least one former Richmond standout.
