PENSACOLA, FL - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Saturday. INF Tyler Bortnick  has been transferred back to Triple-A Colorado Springs from Biloxi and C A.J. Murray  activated from the 7-day disabled list.

PENSACOLA, FL - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Saturday. INF Tyler Bortnick  has been transferred back to Triple-A Colorado Springs from Biloxi and C A.J. Murray  activated from the 7-day disabled list.

Bortnick, 30, appeared in five games for the Shuckers, batting .133 (2x15) while starting games in left field and third base. Bortnick was signed by the Brewers on July 15 to a minor league contract and was assigned to Triple-A Colorado Springs. In three games for the SkySox, Bortnick was 3-for-12 at the plate with four runs and an RBI. Bortnick began the season with the Independent Atlantic League's Somerset Patriots and was named an All-Star while posting a .273 batting average, 25 runs, 59 hits, 10 doubles and 26 RBI in 62 games.
Murray, 24, was transferred to Biloxi from A- Wisconsin on July 9 and placed on the 7-day disabled list. Murray went 1-for-8 over three games with the Timber Rattlers with a double. The Rahway, NJ native began the season in the Minnesota Twins organization and was released on May 19. The Brewers signed Murray on June 14 and assigned him to Wisconsin. In 114 games in 2016 between A- Cedar Rapids and A+ Fort Myers, Murray batted .238 with 10 home runs and 49 RBI. The Twins drafted Murray with their 15th round selection in 2015 out of Georgia Tech.
The current Shuckers roster remains at 25 after today's move.

The Shuckers look to salvage the series finale tonight in Pensacola as Aaron Wilkerson takes his team-best nine wins to the mound opposite Pensacola righty Domingo Tapia. First pitch is at 6:35 pm CT with live coverage beginning at 6:15 pm on Cruisin' WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network. The Shuckers will return to MGM Park on Sunday for a five-game series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at any Ticketmaster outlet or bloxishucker.com.
