FRISCO, Texas (April 18, 2019) - Emerson Martinez tied a career-high with 10 strikeouts and Riders pitchers combined to fan 15 Midland hitters Thursday night, but the RoughRiders were edged 7-6 in the series opener.
SYNOPSIS
* Martinez struck out the side in the first and finished with 10 punchouts in five innings, tying a career-best set last season with Advanced-A Down East.

* Trailing 2-0, the Riders plated five unanswered runs between the fifth and sixth innings, before Midland regained the lead for good in the seventh.
* Michael De Leon and Charles Leblanc each collected a pair of RBI singles for the Riders.
