♦ Made 34 appearances over six stints with Baltimore in his first big league action, going 1-4 with a 5.93 ERA. Also appeared in 21 games between Norfolk (18 games) and Double-A Bowie (three games), combining to go 2-1 with a 6.38 ERA.

PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft. Was selected by Boston in the 6th round of the 2009 draft but did not sign.
♦ Attended the University of Virginia, where he finished third in school history with 21 career saves. Led the Cavaliers in strikeouts his junior season and was named Second-Team All-ACC. Was a teammate of former Orioles farmhand Tyler Wilson at UVA in 2010 and 2011.
♦ Attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School (MD), where he was named Maryland's 2009 Louisville Slugger Player of the Year. Also competed in indoor track and field in high school, where he placed fourth in the high jump (6 feet) his senior year.
