2019
♦ Made 34 appearances over six stints with Baltimore in his first big league action, going 1-4 with a 5.93 ERA. Also appeared in 21 games between Norfolk (18 games) and Double-A Bowie (three games), combining to go 2-1 with a 6.38 ERA. 
♦ Made MLB debut on 4/20 vs. Minnesota, throwing 2.0 innings in game two of a DH. 
♦ Registered first big league strikeout on 4/28 at Minnesota (Marwin Gonzalez).
♦ Earned first MLB win on 5/1 at Chicago after 2.0 scoreless innings against the White Sox.
♦ Did not allow a run over nine appearances (8.1 IP) for Baltimore in September.

♦ Opened the year with Frederick, going 1-0 with two saves and a 1.31 ERA in 12 games.
♦ Did not allow an earned run in 10 of his 12 outings with Frederick, registering 23 strikeouts and just three walks in 20.2 innings of work. 
♦ Promoted to Bowie on 5/20 and pitched the remainder of the season with the Baysox, going 4-4 with 15 saves and a 1.80 ERA in 32 relief appearances. 
♦ Did not allow more than one earned run in any of his final 31 appearances with the Baysox. 
♦ His 15 saves with the Baysox ranked third in the Eastern League.

♦ Placed on Bowie's disabled list on 5/21. Underwent Tommy John surgery on 10/8.


2014
♦ Spent the majority of the season with Class-A Frederick, where he went 8-6 with a 3.84 ERA in 23 starts.
♦ Ranked among Carolina League leaders in walks per nine innings ratio among starters (4th, 2.27) and ERA (7th, 3.84). He issued 32 walks in 126.2 innings pitched. 
♦ Selected for the Carolina League's Midseason All-Star Team.
♦ Struck out a season-high 11 batters over 7.0 shutout innings, 6/7 at Myrtle Beach.
♦ Went 7-0 with a 2.79 ERA (22 ER, 71.0 IP) in 12 road starts.
♦ Promoted to Bowie on 8/20 and made final three starts of the season with the Baysox.
♦ Rated by MLB.com as the #9 prospect in the Orioles organization after the season.


2013
♦ Made seven starts with Class-A Delmarva, going 1-2 with a 5.86 ERA.
♦ Earned his first professional win on 4/13 at Hagerstown.
♦ Struck out a career-high 13 batters, 5/17 vs. Hickory.
♦ Underwent surgery on 5/23 to repair a right ankle/fibula fracture and missed the remainder of the season.


2012
♦ Pitched to a 4.50 ERA over four starts with Aberdeen, striking out 12 batters in 12.0 IP.
♦ Named the Orioles #9 prospect after the season by Baseball America.

 

PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft. Was selected by Boston in the 6th round of the 2009 draft but did not sign. 
♦ Attended the University of Virginia, where he finished third in school history with 21 career saves. Led the Cavaliers in strikeouts his junior season and was named Second-Team All-ACC. Was a teammate of former Orioles farmhand Tyler Wilson at UVA in 2010 and 2011.
♦ Attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School (MD), where he was named Maryland's 2009 Louisville Slugger Player of the Year. Also competed in indoor track and field in high school, where he placed fourth in the high jump (6 feet) his senior year.
