Born on April 21, 1994 in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Heyda Rosario and Edwin Rios… has two siblings, Gustavo and Giancarlos… majored in sports management at FIU... South Central All-Region First Team in 2015 as a junior at FIU... was the 16th FIU player to be taken in the MLB Draft in the FIU head coach Turtle Thomas.. was a First-Team All-Conference USA selection in 2015... hit .314 with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs in 61 games at FIU in 2015; his 18 home runs led the conference and ranked No. 4 in the nation, while his RBI total was No. 2 in C-USA and No. 52 nationally.. his 18 homers in 2015 are the fourth-most in a single season in FIU history...
