2016
♦ Appeared in 34 games for Aberdeen, batting .258 with six doubles and 18 RBI.
♦ Made his professional debut in Game 1 of a doubleheader on 7/29 vs. Mahoning Valley. Went 2-3 with a run scored, RBI, and stolen base in Game 2 of that twinbill. 
♦ Set season-highs in hits (four), doubles (two), runs (two), & RBI (four), 8/24 at Staten Island.
♦ Batted .313 (10-32) against left-handed pitchers and .308 (16-52) in 14 road games.

 

PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 7th round of the 2016 draft. 
♦ Attended North Carolina State University, where he hit .337 with nine home runs and a .539 slugging percentage during his junior season. Was named to the 2014 ACC Academic Honor Roll. 
♦ Attended Heritage High School in Frisco, TX, where he was named to Perfect Game USA's All-Texas Regional Team. Batted .387 with a .524 OBP during his senior season.
♦ Is the son of Rafael Palmeiro, a four-time MLB All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner. Over a 20-year career with the Cubs, Rangers, Orioles and Rangers, Rafael batted .288 with 569 home runs, 3,020 hits and 1,835 runs batted in. He is just one of six players in history to register 500 home runs and 3,000 hits, joining Hank Aaron, Alex Rodriguez, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray and Albert Pujols.
