Come back Friday for the next round of MiLB Premier Plays of the Week of voting!

Dean does it again (and again and again)

Justin Dean has a history of making spectacular defensive plays in the outfield, but this week was just ridiculous. Over three consecutive games for Double-A Mississippi, the 27-year-old added to the highlight reel with an impressive grab in each contest. This one was the best of the bunch as Dean made a very difficult sliding grab look easy.

Bastidas backs it up

Jesús Bastidas, who first signed out of Venezuela in 2015, has been doing this a long time. The 2022 Gold Glover knows how important it is to stay with a play. Triple-A Sugar Land pitcher Blair Henley took this 96.1 mph liner square off his back, but Bastidas was there to get the out with a barehand play.

Mendlinger floats back to the outfield

Noah Mendlinger has mostly returned to his natural position on the infield after playing the bulk of his games in the outfield last season. Looking at this catch, it seems the 23-year-old missed playing on the grass. As Double-A Springfield wore its half-way to Halloween jerseys, Mendlinger floated through the air like a ghost to make this grab.

Wasn't there a hill here?

Jordan Beck, who had been terrific for the Isotopes and earned his first big league promotion just three days after making this play, becomes the latest centerfielder to turn in a highlight reel grab in Albuquerque. It was only a couple years ago that Beck would have had to climb a hill to make this Willie Mays-style basket catch.

Urbina takes away a homer

There were a couple home run robberies this week, but this one by Misael Urbina for High-A Cedar Rapids stood out as the best. This ball is roped off the bat of Zach Levenson, and Urbina had to get back to the wall in a hurry. The 22-year-old got there and timed his jump perfectly to secure the out.
