Rain Policy

Though very rare, it does, unfortunately rain every once in a while. Below, find information that you need just in case your game is impacted by weather.

Where can I find out if the game is delayed or postponed?

The BlueClaws will post all updates on Twitter, Facebook, and BlueClaws.com.

Important - If we haven't said the game is postponed, then the game is still on and we are doing everything we can to try to play the game. _

If the game is postponed, what happens to my tickets?

In the event of any rainout, your tickets can be exchanged. As stated on the tickets, no refunds will be given.

How do I exchange my tickets?

All exchanges must be made in-person at the BlueClaws Box Office or on the phone at 732-901-7000 option 2.

What if I have tickets as part of a group?

If you have tickets through a group, the BlueClaws, in the event of a rain-out, will be in touch with your group leader to discuss alternative options and re-scheduling.

If there is a double-header, are my tickets good for the make-up game?

You are certainly welcome to exchange your tickets for the ensuing double-header. However, you must bring your tickets from the rained out game to the Box Office and exchange them there. For example, if you have tickets to Tuesday's rained-out game, you can use them for the Wednesday double-header, but you'll have to exchange them at the Box Office first.

What if I have tickets to a game that becomes a double-header because of an earlier rain-out?

Your tickets to any day with a double-header are good for both ends of that double-header! You are welcome to come inside when the gates open and stay for both games.

Will someone with a ticket from yesterday's rained-out game sit in my seat?

No. Anyone with a ticket to a rained-out game can exchange them for the make-up game. We will do our best to accommodate their seating requests, but those requests are subject to availability.

What happens to my food order from my Luxury Suite outing?

In the event of a rainout, the Luxury Suite holder is responsible for food and beverage orders if the game is called off after gates open. If the game is deemed a rainout before the gates open, the Luxury Suite holder is not responsible for the food and beverage order. Orders cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of the game/event will not be charged.
