The Burlington Royals are proud to announce the hiring of Justin Gallanty as the team's new radio broadcaster. Gallanty will join the Royals this summer after he completes his duties as the broadcaster for the University of Maryland baseball team.

Gallanty has also spent time as the play-by-play broadcaster for UMD field hockey, volleyball, women's soccer, and color analyst for wrestling.
Gallanty replaces Matt Krause, who served in the same role for the past four seasons. "It's not easy replacing a voice and person like Matt Krause, but Justin is someone who I think can fill that role very easily. He has the experience and the voice, and I look forward to seeing what he can do for us," said Royals General Manager Mikie Morrison.
Along with being the voice of the B-Royals, Gallanty will oversee the social media channels and website for the team. He will be writing nightly game recaps and oversee all of the media relations for the team.
A current junior at Maryland, Gallanty is a native of Westport, Conn. Justin's brother Eric is the current Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Syracuse Chiefs in the International League.
