He was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays organization in 2012. While he was with Tampa, he managed to make a name for himself. As a rookie he won American League Rookie of the Year Award in 2013. The Rookie of the Year's stats were very impressive. He hit .293, with 13 home run and 53 runs batted in (RBI), in 88 games played. Myers was an All-Star in 2016 with the San Diego Padres.
