January 27, 2020

BURLINGTON, NC- The Burlington Royals are proud to officially announce the hiring of Alex Feuz as the team's Broadcaster & Media Relations Coordinator for the 2020 season.

Along with being the voice of the B-Royals, Feuz will oversee the social media channels and website for the team. He will be writing nightly game recaps and oversee all of the media relations for the team.

The General Manager of the Burlington Royals, Mikie Morrison, stated today: "We are thrilled to have Alex join our staff for the 2020 season. Alex shows an extraordinary drive and work ethic, and we could not be more fortunate to have someone like him in the booth for the upcoming season."

Feuz spent the 2019 season as the broadcaster for the New Bedford Bay Sox, an NECBL summer collegiate baseball team New Bedford, MA. The 2019 season was his first year covering a team on a daily basis - where he broadcasted both the home and away games.

Feuz, currently a sophomore at Dean College, hosts his own radio show, 'The Alex Feuz Show'. It is broadcasted Monday through Friday from 7am-8amET on 88.3FM and streamed on power883.org. Feuz has conducted interviews with nationally acclaimed broadcasters like Bob Costas, Adam Schefter, Ken Rosenthal, along with All-Star athletes including Andrew McCutchen, Curt Schilling, Ron Guidry, and more.

Prior to attending Dean College, Feuz started a podcast in the eighth grade of middle school. He has gained 1 million+ lifetime views, and over 25,000 combined followers on all social media platforms. In the 11th grade, Feuz interned at 104.5FM ESPN affiliate radio station in Albany, NY. During his time at the station, he would edit, and produce commercials, coordinate interviews for the show, and make a few on-air appearances for the afternoon drive radio show, 'Levack and Goz'.

Feuz said on Monday: "This has been my dream since I can remember. I love this great game of baseball, and I hope the tremendous respect I have for every single player, manager, coach, umpire, and front office member is consistently evident in my broadcast. The baseball season is right around the corner, and I can't wait to get started."

The Appalachian League season begins in June, with the Royals' first game on June 22nd against the Danville Braves.
