Terrance Gore was a 20th round pick in 2011. He spent the 2012 season in Burlington with the Royals. During that season Gore made the record book in several statistics. Gore had a .379 on-base percentage, 36 stolen bases, 50 runs scored and got hit 9 times in 61 games played. The following season in Lexington, Gore had 68 stolen bases. Then again in 2014 he had 52 stolen bases, while traveling between, Wilmington all the way to Kansas City for September call ups.
Gore has been up and down between triple-A and the major leagues over the last five years. Gore spent the first four seasons with the Royals, before spending with 14 games with the Chicago Cubs last season. He will hope to be back with the Royals this season after signing a Major League contract in December. Being a base stealing threat, he will need to improve his bat to stay in the everyday lineup. Gore has started 2019 Spring Training very strong with three hits including a double plus two walks, in twelve plate appearance.
