Royals and Cardinals Postponed Sunday

Doubleheader scheduled for Monday at 5:00 p.m.

JOHNSON CITY, TENN.- Inclement weather in the Johnson City area forced the postponement of Sunday's doubleheader between the Burlington Royals and the Johnson City Cardinals. The two clubs were already playing a doubleheader to open their series due to a rainout in Burlington on July 15.

Burlington and Johnson City will play a doubleheader on Monday at 5:00 p.m. to begin their series. Fans can listen to the games live and for free at www.jccardinals.com.

Burlington returns home on Wednesday, August 10 to begin a five-game homestand. The homestand will feature a visit by the World Series Trophy on August 12 and 13 to commemorate Kansas City's 2015 World Series win.
