LabCorp Fireworks Nights Set

The Burlington Royals and LabCorp have once again teamed up to bring fans two Fireworks Nights for the 2008 season.

The first LabCorp Fireworks Night is scheduled for the first weekend of the season, Saturday, June 21st, when the Royals take on the Bristol White Sox. The June 21st game will also include a giveaway item to the first 1,000 fans, compliments of LabCorp.

"We're pleased to once again be teaming up with LabCorp," said Steve Brice, the Royals' General Manager. "LabCorp is a great company and an amazing supporter of the community and Burlington Baseball. Fans love the fireworks nights, and I'm glad to continue that tradition again this season."

The second LabCorp Fireworks Night is scheduled for Saturday, August 16th, when the Royals take on the Bluefield Orioles.

The Royals will also have fireworks following the 4th of July game against the Johnson City Cardinals. The 4th of July game and both LabCorp Fireworks Nights will all have 6:30 PM start times. All other games for the 2008 season will have 7:00 PM start times, excluding the 11:00 AM day game against the Bluefield Orioles on July 28.
