JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a successful Sales Intern, your main responsibility is to provide support in sales-related areas of the business for the Charlotte Stone Crabs Florida State League season. The internship runs from January to September of 2020. Responsibilities: Sell tickets at several levels (Group, Mini, Season and Individual). Ability to manage customer database. Sell via outbound calls and face to face meetings. Assist in community relations efforts. Fill in as mascot as needed. Work in the Box Office on game days and non-game days. Perform all game day duties as assigned. Assist in any other tasks assigned. Additionally, you'll gain valuable experience in the baseball industry, with training provided and the opportunity to work closely with all members of the Stone Crabs Front Office. This internship is an exciting opportunity to join the CBI Baseball family and work for one of the best operations in minor league baseball. The ideal candidate for this position must possess the ability to multi-task and the desire to contribute to a high-quality minor league product. The Stone Crabs play their home games at Charlotte Sports Park, which is the Spring Training home for the Tampa Bay Rays. JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a successful Stadium Operations Intern, your main responsibility is to provide support in operations-related areas of the business. The internship runs January to September 2020. As our Stadium Operations Intern, you will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and assist in the following tasks during the Charlotte Stone Crabs Florida State League season:

Assist in the set up of advertising signs, help in the execution of all picnics and suites from set up to breakdown, maintain the policies of the stadium in regards to customer service and other ballpark issues, support Food & Beverage and Operations with any other game day or non-game day tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, terrific energy and a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to take initiative.

Special Physical Requirements of the Job:

Ability to work long hours and holidays & weekends, routinely exposed to extreme hot weather conditions, ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs and assist in tarp pulls. JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Stone Crabs Game Day Internship is an hourly paid position for candidates interested in getting their feet wet with Minor League Baseball. Duties will include greeting fans, working the kids zone, assisting the promo crew, running the ticket tent, setting up areas of the ballpark and much more. Interns will work on game days from before gates open until after the game is over and will often rotate through tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

This position will be creating a fun and memorable experience for fans, so customer service skills are a must. Desire for career in the sports industry is a plus. Candidates must be able to take direction while also willing to take initiative and work hard.

We prefer: Ability to work all home games and to work multiple days in a row. Ability to work holidays, nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements of the Job: Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold/wet weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and assist in tarp pulls.
