KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Aug. 1, 2017) -  The Atlanta Braves have announced the following roster moves that affect the Florida Fire Frogs roster prior to Tuesday night's game against the Dunedin Blue Jays:

Wright, 21, was the fifth overall pick out of Vanderbilt in the 2017 first-year player draft. The 6'4" hurler finished his junior season at 5-6 with a 3.40era (39er/103.1ip), with 121 strikeouts in his final collegiate season. During his three seasons as a Commodore, the right-hander went 19-11 with a 2.78era in 61 games (35 starts), with 290 punchouts in 255.1 innings of work.
The native of Huntsville, Ala. appeared in three games in the Gulf Coast League, posting an ERA of 1.59 (1er/5.2ip) on three hits, two walks and eight strikeouts.
Daniel, 24, played in 11 games for the Fire Frogs in 2017, batting .139 (5-for-36) with one home run and three RBI. The product of San Diego signed with the Atlanta Braves organization on June 28, after being released by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on June 16.
The fourth-year professional is a career .268 hitter with 23 long balls and 172 runs driven in through 376 games.
Florida's roster is now at 25 players, with 13 pitchers and 12 position players, and one player on the disabled list.
Florida will look to avoid the sweep in the finale of the four-game series on Tuesday night from Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Wright will take the mound for the Fire Frogs in game four against the Blue Jays' LHP Tyler Saucedo (0-0, 5.11). First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
Florida returns to Osceola County Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 3 for game one of a four-game series against the Bradenton Marauders. Every Thursday is "Thirsty Thursday" at the ballpark, where fans can enjoy 12 oz. beers and 12 oz. sodas for just one dollar.
