The Ballpark at Jackson

2017 and 2018 Tennessee Turfgrass Association Pro Field of the Year

The Ballpark at Jackson is a 6,000 seat Minor League Baseball stadium located in Jackson, Tennessee. Opened in 1998, it has been the friendly confines of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx and now the Jackson Generals.

The Ballpark at Jackson was built by the City of Jackson, Tennessee, and is the home of the Jackson Generals of the Southern League. The stadium is located east of downtown Jackson and is visible just south of Interstate 40, accessible from Exit 85 (Christmasville Road). The outfield walls of the park measure 16 feet in height, except for the 24-foot left field wall that protects the clubhouses and batting cages. The foul lines measure 330 feet in length, and the center field wall stands 390 feet from home plate.

In addition to hosting Southern League baseball games, The Ballpark at Jackson was awarded the 2010-2016 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship as well as the 1999, 2011, and 2020 Southern League All-Star Games. High school and college baseball games are also played there in the spring, including the annual Billy Schrivner High School Baseball All-Star Game for West Tennessee.

In 2017 and 2018, The Ballpark at Jackson won back-to-back Sports Field of the Year honors from the Tennessee Turfgrass Association. The back-to-back victories marked the first time that any facility in the Volunteer State won the award in consecutive seasons.
