Cold bats lead to Jupiter loss

Although the Jupiter Hammerheads kept the game close against Dunedin Saturday, their offensive performance fell short, leading to the 3-0 loss.
Defensively, the Hammerheads looked much better on Saturday night. Pitching-wise, Taylor Braley held his own after two nights of struggling starters. He went seven strong innings with zero earned runs, two hits and five strikeouts. Only one unearned run made it to home plate for the entirety of his start.
Fielding-wise, the Hammerheads held it together defensively as well to keep the lead to a minimum for most of the game. Cleaner fielding, which included an impressive 3-6-3 double play with Micah Brown and Lazaro Alonso, backed-up Braley to keep the game 0-1 until the ninth.  
Offensively the Hammerheads fell short. Jose Devers recorded the only hit on the night, a single in Jupiter's first at-bat of the game.
A series of hits in the ninth gave the Blue Jays a 3-0 lead that the Hammerheads lineup couldn't combat in the bottom of the ninth.
