Hammerheads fall to Cardinals in heartbreaking fashion

Jupiter entered the ninth inning with a 6-1 lead in Saturday's 7-6 ten inning loss.
All six runs for the Hammerheads came off the bats of Anfernee Seymour and Cameron Baranek.
In the bottom of the second inning Seymour stepped up the plate and drove in the first runs of the game for Jupiter in a three RBI stand-up triple to right field. Seymour was the only Hammerhead with multiple hits as he also hit a double.
The following inning, Baranek sent a ball to the same corner of right field as Seymour recording three RBI of his own on his double, making the score 6-1.
Dustin Beggs started on the mound and had a fantastic performance. The righty went for seven innings striking out six batters and allowed just one run off of three hits.
Drew Rucinski entered the game in the eighth inning and pitched just one inning on MLB rehab.
Steven Farnworth started the ninth inning on the mound, in his 1/3 innings pitched he allowed four hits and five earned runs tying the game 6-6.
Out of the bullpen Chad Smith entered the game for 1/3 innings as well, smith walked three batters and struck out one.
Jorgan Cavanerio finished off the ninth inning and pitched the entirety of the 10th. The Hammerheads final pitcher allowed two hits in the 10th along with what would be the game ending run.
