The Hammerheads beat Lakeland Thursday night in dominant fashion with a final score of 11-1.
Jupiter's offense was clicking early tonight as they scored all eleven of its runs in the first three innings.
John Silviano and James Nelson led the blazing bats of Jupiter tonight.
The duo combined for eight of Jupiter's 10 RBIs on Thursday.
James crossed home three times with Braxton Lee, Brian Miller, and Zach Sullivan each scoring twice.
Silviano hit the game's only homerun and a game high five RBIs. It was his team leading 10th homer of the season.
Starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto ensured those 11 early runs would be enough. He threw five scoreless innings, striking out six batters along the way.
Out of the bullpen, Ryan McKay pitched three innings with five strikeouts while allowing just one run.
Riley Hovis pitched a perfect ninth inning.
The combination of explosive offense and shut down pitching came at the perfect time for the Hammerheads as the first half of the Florida State League season comes to an end.
With 10 games remaining in the first half of the season, Jupiter currently holds a .5 game lead in its divisional race.
The Hammerheads look to keep the momentum as they go on a stretch of road games at Florida and Lakeland. Jupiter's next home game will be played June 18th as they host the Fire frogs directly after the All-Star break for its final three games of the first half.
