After Daytona and Jupiter were locked into a 1-1 tie for more than four innings, John Silviano's three-run homer in the bottom of the eigth inning put the Hammerheads up for good in a 4-1 victory over the Tortugas.

After allowing a first inning run, Jupiter tied up the game on an Anfernee Seymour one-out single in the third.

Following the Silviano homer, Chad Smith threw a perfect ninth inning and recorded his first save.
Aside from Seymour, Brian Miller and Joe Dunand both had multi-hit games. Miller rose his average to .333 in the process, fifth in the Florida State League.
The teams will have a quick turnaround before a 10:30 AM first pitch set for Tuesday.
