Sobotka, 24, was 2-0 with a 2.21 ERA (5 ER/20.1 IP) in 13 games and one start for the Fire Frogs this season, registering 28 strikeouts and just seven walks. He also had two saves in three chances.
The Sarasota, FL native appeared in a career-most 34 games between Mississippi and Florida last season, combining to go 4-5 with a 6.09 ERA (39 ER/57.2 IP) between the two clubs. Sobotka set career highs in games, innings (57.2) and strikeouts (52). He opened the season with the M-Braves before transferring to Florida on June 23.
Sobotka was selected by the Braves in the fourth round (133rd overall) of the 2014 draft out of South Carolina - Upstate.
Watts, 23, was 1-1 with a 3.29 ERA (5 ER/13.2 IP) for the M-Braves in 10 relief appearances. The Mooresville, NC native was promoted to the M-Braves roster on April 19 after posting a 0-1 record and 4.70 ERA (4 ER/7.1 IP) over five games and two saves for the Fire Frogs to begin the season.
The Mississippi Braves active roster stands at 25 with 6 on the Disabled List.
